Milestones

The Innovation & entrepreneurship education is an important trend of higher education in the 21st century, and it is also an urgent need for the construction of an innovative country in China.
Since the 1990s, Various higher education institutions around the world have attached great importance to the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. The implementation of innovation & entrepreneurship education began at the end of the 20th century in china. Although it started late, the Chinese government attaches great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, which has developed rapidly in recent years.
On September 10, 2014, Premier Li Keqiang pointed out that we should take advantage of the "east wind" of reform and innovation to promote China's economic and scientific development, set off a new wave of "mass entrepreneurship" and "grassroots entrepreneurship" on 9.6 million square kilometers of land, forming a new situation of "mass innovation" and "everyone innovation" at the opening ceremony of the summer Davos forum.
In the world, innovation and entrepreneurship has become a kind of value orientation, life philosophy and characteristics of the times. In this context, on April 15, 2015, Tsinghua University initiated the establishment of " Innovation & Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China" under the guidance of the Ministry of education.

  • The 2020 Academic Committee Meeting of China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center was successfully held

    On 13th December 2020, the online meeting of the 2020 Academic Committee of China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center was successfully held. Academician Song Yonghua, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the Research Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and President of the University of Macau, chaired the meeting. 27 experts from the Academic Committee and the Specially Invited Expert Group attended the meeting. Zeng Rong, Secretary General of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China, Fu Zhiyong, Deputy Director of China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center, Yu Cangbi, Executive Director of the Secretariat of the innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance, and Ma Xiaotian, Head of the Secretariat of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center attended the meeting.

  • China-Italy Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Year Launched

    On 5th December 2020,On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy, the “China-Italy Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Year” jointly initiated by Tsinghua University and Politecnico di Milano and undertaken by the China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance and the Sino-Italian Design Innovation Base was successfully launched.  University leaders from 21 universities in China and Italy participated in the launch of "China-Italy Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Year", which was co-chaired by Vice President and Dean Yang Bin of Tsinghua University and Vice President Giuliano Noci of Politecnico di Milano.

  • Finals of the 3rd "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

    On 3th December 2020,The third "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei - Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition （the National Finals） was supported by the China City and Small Town Reform and Development Center and the Smart City Development Alliance. Exhibitions and road shows will be carried out in the form of a combination of online and offline, and will directly participate in the "People's City—" —The 6th China Smart City Expo with the theme of "Integrated Growth, Cooperation and Sharing" supports the development of national smart cities and contributes cutting-edge wisdom and solutions to global cities and technological progress.

  • The expert pool of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Center of China was first recruited

    On 15th May 2020,In order to advance the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education at a higher level, deeper and more critical links, further enrich the expert database of the innovation and entrepreneurship education research center of China, update innovation and entrepreneurship education, and promote the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Center of China is open to invite experts in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship from all over the world.

  • The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China 2019 Annual Conference

    On 21th October 2019,2019 The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance Annual Conference, sponsored by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China and organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, opened in Harbin. Mr. Cheng Zhiming, Vice Governor of Heilongjiang Province, Mr. Qiu Yong, President of Tsinghua University and Chairman of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China, Mr. Sun Zhe, Mayor of Harbin City, Mr. Zhou Yu, President of Harbin Institute of Technology, Mr. Ye Dingda, Deputy Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Bureau of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Mr. Ding Zhexue, Deputy Commissioner of Education Department of Heilongjiang Province attended the opening ceremony. More than 1,500 participants, including leaders and experts from more than 400 universities and colleges from 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as representatives from several well-known enterprises, attended the conference.

  • Finals of the 2nd "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

    On 19th October 2019,The finals of the 2nd "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition ended in Harbin. The competition was officially launched in Xi'an on December 22, 2018, with the main track (Beijing, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore six tracks), vertical industry track (art technology, digital economy, shared finance) Three sub-tracks), higher vocational track, and juvenile innovation project exhibition and evaluation activities attracted more than 1,000 teams to register and participate. About 33 teams are finally selected to enter the finals through online selection competitions, match points/track on-site competitions, to show us different types of entrepreneurial projects such as technology manufacturing, smart cities, medical and health, and the achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education and education.

  • The 1st working meeting of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China 2019

    On 20th April 2019,The 1st Working Meeting of the IEEAC in 2019 was held in Li Zhaoji Science and Technology Building of Tsinghua University. At the opening ceremony, the mobilization meeting of the "Internet +" college student innovation and entrepreneurship competition Tsinghua University competition, the launching ceremony of the Beijing section of the China-US Youth Maker Competition, the opening ceremony of the Design Thinking Professional Committee of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance, and the five activities of the donation ceremony of the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held.

  • 2018 The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China Annual Conference

    On 23th December 2018,The 2018 Annual Conference of the IEEAC, sponsored by the Alliance and organized by Xi 'an Jiaotong University and Xi 'an Municipal Government, came to a successful conclusion. Chen Guoqiang, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province, Yue Huafeng, Chairman of the Xi’an CPPCC, Qiu Yong, Chairman of the IEEAC and President of Tsinghua University, Wang Shuguo, Vice Chairman of the Alliance and President of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Duan Chongzhi, President of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Song Yonghua, President of the University of Macau , Dong Xiaolong, Secretary of the Education Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, Gao Yang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shaanxi Provincial Government, and Xiao Xiliang, Deputy Mayor of the Xi'an Municipal Government, attended the opening ceremony. Leaders and experts from more than 500 colleges and universities in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), Hong Kong and Macau, representatives of more than 220 well-known companies such as Alibaba and Microsoft, and more than 30 well-known companies such as Xinhua News Agency, China National Radio, Economic Daily From the media, a total of more than 2,000 people attended the conference.

  • Demonstration University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform" 2018 Conference

    On 2th November 2018,"Demonstration Universities for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform" 2018 Conference was held at Tsinghua University. Wu Yan, Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Xu Qingsen, Deputy Director, Yang Bin, Vice President and Dean of Tsinghua University, and more than 100 universities leaders from deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform demonstration universities and member universities of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of China attended the Conference. A total of nearly 600 innovation and entrepreneurship education leaders and teachers from 200 universities across the country participated in the Conference. Sun Hongbin, Coordinator of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of Tsinghua University and Secretary-General of the IEEAC presided over the conference. This conference played a positive role in unifying ideas, building consensus, and promoting exchanges.

  • Finals of the First Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

    On 14th October  2018,The 1st "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei - Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Final and the " Ten hundred Ten thousand "Innovation and Entrepreneurship talent Cultivation Project Achievements Press Conference was held in Beijing Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone Exhibition Center. The exhibition focused on the demonstration of Beijing’s “Ten Hundred Ten Thousand” Entrepreneurship Project in the past year. It has promoted the entrepreneurial work plan of ten major enterprises, established hundreds of youth innovation workstations, cultivated thousands of entrepreneurial mentors, and cultivated thousands of creators. At the press conference, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, together with the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Beijing, the Municipal Youth League Committee, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Education Commission, Tsinghua University and other members, held the first "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei - Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition champion competition.
